German WWII fighter aces: G–L

This page lists German World War II fighter aces whose last names start with G through L. A flying ace is a pilot credited with five or more aerial victories. The aces are shown in alphabetical order by surname. The list is grouped by surname ranges: A–F, M–P, Q–S, and T–Z.

An asterisk after a name indicates the pilot was killed in action or died from related causes (KIA, MIA, DOW, KIFA, or KICA). A slash ( / ) signals information discrepancies between sources. The sources noting these discrepancies include Aders, Boiten, Caldwell, Girbig, Held, Obermaier, Spick, Ring, Mathews, Foreman, and Zabecki.
