Monsters, Inc. Scream Factory Favorites
Monsters, Inc. Scream Factory Favorites is a studio album by the Western band Riders in the Sky, released on August 27, 2002. The 33-minute CD on Walt Disney features covers of songs from the Monsters, Inc. movie plus original material. It was produced by Joey Miskulin. The album won the 2003 Grammy for Best Musical Album for Children, the band’s second win in this category. It originally came with Lyrics Included so listeners could sing along. Recording took place in Nashville at Musicwagon Studio (Joey Miskulin) and B. Truitt Music (Brent Truitt), with additional recording by Tim Roberts. Dan Rudin mixed the album at Musicwagon Studio, and Denny Purcell mastered it at Georgetown Masters in Nashville.
