Todd Larkham
Todd Larkham (born 13 October 1974 in Canberra, Australia) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. He is the younger brother of Brent Larkham, who coached him toward the end of his career.
Larkham played right-handed with a one-handed backhand. He turned professional in 1993 and reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 136 on 8 September 2003. His career prize money totaled about $306,108.
In singles, Larkham had a 3–14 ATP Tour record and did not win any ATP titles. He won one singles title on the Challenger circuit in 2003 at Scheveningen, defeating Diego Veronelli in the final (7–6, 4–6, 6–4). His Grand Slam highlights include reaching the second round of the Australian Open in 2003 and the second round of Wimbledon in 1997. Notable matches included defeating Ctislav Doseděl at Wimbledon 1997 to reach the second round and facing Lleyton Hewitt in the 2003 Australian Open after beating Cecil Mamiit in the first round; he had previously played Pete Sampras at the 1997 US Open.
In doubles, Larkham had a 3–10 ATP Tour record and did not win any ATP titles. He won two Challenger doubles titles: in Olbia, Italy in 1998 with Chris Wilkinson, and in Grenoble, France in 2002 with Michael Tebbutt.
Larkham resided in Canberra during his tennis career.
