Satisfy (song)
Satisfy is a song by British electronic trio Nero. It is the lead single from their second album, Between II Worlds, and was released on 14 May 2014. The track runs 4:04 and fits the big beat/EDM style. It was released by MTA Records and Mercury. The song was written by Daniel Stephens, Joseph Ray, and Alana Watson, and produced by Stephens and Ray. It peaked at number 50 on the UK Singles Chart. Satisfy also appears on the soundtrack for the video game Forza Horizon 2, in Horizon Bass Arena.
Nero began promoting their second album in November 2013 with a long ambient piece on SoundCloud. On 13 May 2014, BBC Radio 1 premiered Satisfy as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record in the World, and it was released digitally the next day.
Since its release, unofficial drum and bass remixes by artists such as TC and Koncept, and RAM Records’ LoKo and Audio, have circulated and received airplay on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, and Rinse FM.
