Cochylis carmelana

Cochylis carmelana is a small moth in the Tortricidae family. It is found in the United States, mainly along the coast of California. The wingspan is about 13 millimeters. Adults have been seen on the wing in February and April. It was first described by Kearfott in 1907 and has also been known as Phalonia carmelana.
