Mohinder Pratap Chand
Mohinder Pratap Chand (1 August 1935 – 19 October 2020) was an Indian Urdu poet and writer who promoted Urdu language and literature.
At Kurukshetra University, he started the Bazm-e-Adab literary group and helped include Urdu in the university curriculum. He taught Urdu there as Teacher In-charge for 26 years. He wrote more than a dozen books in Urdu and Hindi, including children’s literature.
