Sălaș

Sălaș is a small river in Hunedoara County, Romania. It flows through the villages of Sălașu de Sus, Sălașu de Jos and Ohaba de sub Piatră. It is a left tributary of the Strei and joins it in Ohaba de sub Piatră. The river is about 17 km long and drains an area of about 32 square kilometers. Water from Sălaș continues to the Strei, then to the Mureș, Tisza, Danube and finally the Black Sea. It is also known as Mălăești.
