Mohammed Rabiu
Mohammed Rabiu Al-Hassan, known as Mohammed Rabiu, is a retired Ghanaian footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He was born on 31 December 1989 in Accra, Ghana, and is 1.86 meters tall.
Rabiu started his career at Liberty Professionals in Ghana and spent time on loan with Gimnàstic (Spain), Xerez (Spain), and Evian (France). Evian signed him permanently in 2011, and he helped the club gain promotion to Ligue 1 that year. In 2013 he moved to Kuban Krasnodar in Russia, and in 2016 signed with Anzhi Makhachkala. His first season at Anzhi was affected by injuries, and he left the club in late 2016. He briefly drew interest from Dynamo Moscow in 2017, but injuries delayed his return. Rabiu rejoined Anzhi in 2018. In 2019 he played for Krylia Sovetov, then joined Paris FC in France, and in 2020 signed with FC Tambov in Russia.
Internationally, Rabiu played for Ghana's U20 team and earned 31 caps for the Ghana senior national team between 2011 and 2015.
