2009 Canadian Senior Curling Championships
The 2009 Canadian Senior Curling Championships took place March 21–28 at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
Men's competition: Ontario, from Navy Curling Club in Ottawa, won. Skipped by Bruce Delaney, with Rick Bachand (third), Duncan Jamieson (second), and George Mitchell (lead). Finalist: New Brunswick.
Women's competition: Nova Scotia, from Truro Curling Club in Truro, won. Skipped by Colleen Pinkney, with Wendy Currie (third), Karen Hennigar (second), and Susan Creelman (lead); coach Judy Burgess. Finalist: British Columbia.
The winning teams represented Canada at the 2010 World Senior Curling Championships.
