An Over-Incubated Baby is a 1901 British silent comedy film directed by Walter R. Booth and produced by Robert W. Paul for Paul's Animatograph Works. The short runs about 1 minute 5 seconds. It shows a woman who puts her baby in Professor Bakem's baby incubator, where the child grows twelve months in just one hour, leading to an unexpected result. The film is recognized as one of Booth and Paul’s more original trick films from 1901, using simple jump-cut effects to tell the joke.
