Miss Universe Malaysia 1964
Miss Universe Malaysia 1964, the first edition of the pageant, was held on 13 June 1964 at Merdeka Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. Angela Filmer of Selangor won, crowned by Puan Khalsom Abdul Rahman, wife of the minister Khir Johari. Angela then represented Malaysia at Miss Universe 1964 in Miami. There were 24 entrants, with 13 finalists chosen for the grand finale.
