Cordelia Bugeja, born on 5 March 1976 in Chichester, West Sussex, is a British actress. She is best known for Julie in Not Going Out, Nikki in EastEnders, Melanie Hart in Family Affairs, and Kate the sex worker in Respectable. She played Gillian Masefield in the ITV sitcom Conjugal Rites from 1993 to 1994. In 2006 she briefly appeared in Not Going Out as waitress Julie. She has appeared in more than two dozen British TV commercials, including a recognisable Sure antiperspirant campaign and a Yakult yoghurt campaign. Her TV guest roles include The Bill (2005) as the girlfriend of a man holding his father and three officers hostage, and in 2007 as Nina Lloyd, the ex-wife of CPS solicitor Matt Hinkley. She has also appeared in Agatha Christie’s Poirot as Lilly Luxmore, Cards on the Table (2006), the 2008 film The Crew as Debs, and the Doctors episode Someone Else’s Shoes as Branwen Owen (2013).
