Ekspress-80 (Экспресс-80) is a Russian communications satellite owned by RSCC Space Communications. Its payload was built by Thales Alenia Space and its satellite bus by ISS Reshetnev, based on the Ekspress-1000N design. The craft weighs about 1,947 kg and provides around 6.3 kW of power.

Ekspress-80 carries 38 transponders: 16 in C-band, 20 in Ku-band and 2 in L-band. It is designed to support TV and radio broadcasting, data transmission, multimedia services, telephony and mobile communications for Russia and the CIS.

The satellite was launched on July 30, 2020, from Baikonur aboard a Proton-M / Briz-M rocket. It was originally planned to launch in 2018. In September 2020, Roscosmos reported that Ekspress-80 was damaged during transfer to geostationary orbit, likely due to space debris, but missions continued without being threatened.

Ekspress-80 entered service on March 15, 2021 at a geostationary orbit position of 80° East, where it remains. The mission is planned to last about 15 years.
