Minuscule 311
Minuscule 311 is a 12th‑century Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on parchment. It contains the Gospel of Matthew on 357 leaves (each about 35.5 by 29 cm), with lacunae from Matthew 1:1 to 5:4. The text is written in one column per page, 28 lines per page, and is surrounded by a catena (commentary) by Theophylact. The manuscript has not been placed in any of Kurt Aland's categories. It once belonged to Cardinal Mazarin, along with other manuscripts such as 14, 305, 313, and 324. Scholz added it to the list of New Testament manuscripts, Paulin Martin described it, and C. R. Gregory examined it in 1885. It is currently housed at the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris (Gr. 203).
