Henry Eric Dolan (20 January 1896 – 12 May 1918) was a World War I flying ace credited with seven aerial victories.

Early life
Dolan was born in St. Leonards, Sussex, England, the son of Alfred Archer Dolan and Violet Eliza Edgeworth Dolan. He had a brother, Gerald Roberts Dolan. He studied at Downside School and later moved to Canada.

Military career
After the outbreak of World War I, Dolan joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He was commissioned as a temporary second lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery on 20 November 1914 and promoted to temporary lieutenant on 31 January 1916. He was awarded the Military Cross on 1 January 1917.

Flying service
On 31 August 1917, Dolan became a flying officer in the Royal Flying Corps and joined the General List. In early 1918 he was posted to No. 74 Squadron, which flew SE.5a fighters on the Western Front, in A Flight led by Captain Mick Mannock.

Aerial victories and death
Dolan achieved his first victory on 12 April 1918, shooting down an Albatros D.V near Merville. He continued to score, bringing his total to seven by 11 May 1918. The following day, 12 May 1918, he was killed after being shot down by Raven Freiherr von Barnekow.

Burial
He is buried at La Laiterie Military Cemetery, Heuvelland, West Flanders, Belgium (plot II, row D, grave 8).
