Marcillac is a place in southwestern France. It was a commune in the Gironde department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. On January 1, 2019, Marcillac merged into the new commune Val-de-Livenne. The area covers about 132 square kilometers. In 2022, around 1,130 people lived there, for a density of about 35 inhabitants per square kilometer. The postal code is 33860. The land rises from 7 to 82 meters above sea level, averaging about 50 meters. It is part of the Blaye arrondissement and the L'Estuaire canton. In Occitan, the name is Marcilhac.
