Merrygoen is a small town in north-west New South Wales, Australia. It sits at the junction of two railway lines, the Coonamble line to Troy Junction and the Gwabegar line. The railway station is closed, but wheat silos and other sidings are still in use. Merrygoen is part of the Gap to Dubbo section of the Intrastate Network run by the Australian Rail Track Corporation.

The Post Office opened on 1 November 1879. The postcode is 2831. The town had a population of 115 at the 2016 census. It is in Warrumbungle Shire, the state electorate of Barwon, and the federal division of Parkes.
