Wayne Phillip
Wayne Phillip (born 25 November 1977) is a former cricketer from Dominica. He was a left-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper. Born in Grand Fond, Saint David Parish, he began his professional career with the Windward Islands in 1997–98 and went on to play for several West Indian regional teams.
He represented West Indies A, and was a back-up wicket-keeper on the West Indies’ 2000 tour of England, playing some matches against county teams. He also played for West Indies B in 2000–01 and later appeared for Northern Windward Islands (2001) and Rest of Windward Islands (2002–03) in domestic one-day competitions. His first-class career ended after the 2000–01 season, but he kept playing regional cricket through 2002–03. In 2006, he briefly returned to top-level West Indian cricket with the Dominican national team at the Stanford 20/20, making one appearance in a loss to Grenada.
