Veeramachaneni Madhusudhana Rao (14 June 1923 – 11 January 2012) was an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter who mainly worked in Telugu cinema. Known as 'Victory' Madhusudhana Rao, he directed about 70 films, including hits like Annapurna (1960), Aradhana (1962), Aathma Balam (1964), Zamindar (1965), Antastulu (1965), Aatmiyulu (1969), and Krishnaveni (1974), and he produced Swati Kiranam (1992). Six of his films won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film, and Antastulu won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu in 1965. In 1997, the Government of Andhra Pradesh honoured him with the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for lifetime contributions to Telugu cinema. He was born in Krishna district, then part of the Madras Presidency, British India, and died in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. He was married to Veeramachaneni Sarojini.
