Menora Tunnel
Menora Tunnel, also called the Meru–Menora Tunnel, is an 800-meter expressway tunnel on the North–South Expressway Northern Route near Jelapang in Perak, Malaysia. It runs under the Keledang Range and has four lanes in total—two lanes for each direction. The speed limit is 90 km/h and the tunnel clearance is 5 meters. It opened on 24 September 1987 and consists of two bores side by side for each direction. The tunnel is owned by the Government of Malaysia and operated by PLUS Malaysia Berhad for Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad. It is a busy part of the North–South Expressway and has a history of frequent accidents.
