State Route 104 (SR 104) is a roughly 35-mile state highway in central Maine, running through Kennebec and Somerset counties. It starts in Augusta at the junction with SR 8, SR 11, and SR 27, and ends in Skowhegan at US 2, US 201, and US 201A.

Route overview:
- From Augusta, SR 104 heads north beside the Kennebec River and crosses SR 3.
- It enters Waterville, briefly sharing the road with SR 11 and SR 137, then follows Silver Street, Elm Street, and Main Street through the downtown area before turning north on Main Street.
- North of downtown Waterville there is an interchange with I-95 (exit 130).
- In Fairfield, SR 104 runs together with SR 139 for about 2.8 miles, and it intersects SR 23 (which has a short concurrency with SR 104 and SR 139).
- SR 104 splits from SR 139 in North Fairfield and continues about 10 more miles to its northern end in Skowhegan at US 2, US 201, and US 201A.

History note:
The southern end was once at a downtown Augusta roundabout shared with several routes, including SR 8. SR 104 used to run together with SR 8, SR 11, and SR 27 on State Street before moving to Bond Street. In the early 2010s, SR 104 was removed from State Street, shortening the route by about 0.8 miles.
