Bock Baker, whose full name was Charles “Bock” Baker, was an American Major League Baseball pitcher who played in 1901. He was born on July 17, 1878, in Troy, New York, and died on August 17, 1940, in New York City.

Baker appeared in two MLB games in 1901—one for the Cleveland Blues and one for the Philadelphia Athletics. His major league debut was on April 28, 1901, with the Blues. In that game he gave up 23 singles in a 10-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox, which remains a record for the most singles allowed by a pitcher in a game in the American League.

His career MLB stats include a win-loss record of 0-2, an earned run average of 7.71, and 1 strikeout. He batted unknown and threw left-handed. Baker’s major league career was brief.
