Meliz Redif
Meliz Redif, born March 26, 1989 in North Nicosia, is a Turkish former sprinter who specialized in the 400 metres. She competed for Fenerbahçe Sport Club. Her biggest medals came in the 4x400 metres relay: gold at the 2011 European Team Championships First League in Izmir, and silver at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen. Her personal bests are 23.93 seconds for the 200 metres (2008) and 52.89 seconds for the 400 metres (2010). In 2015 she was banned for three years after irregularities in her biological passport were found.
