Sneffels was a town in Ouray County, Colorado, named after Mount Sneffels. It began in 1875 and grew mainly from the mid-1880s to 1891, reaching about 2,000 people. The Revenue Mill processed ore from the Virginius and other nearby mines and at its peak employed around 600 men. Today only scattered remnants remain and a few people live nearby. Location: about 37.98°N, 107.75°W.
