Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) is Meghalaya’s government body that recruits state government employees through competitive exams. It was formed on 14 September 1972, after Meghalaya became a state. The Commission operates under Articles 315 and 320 of the Indian Constitution. It is based in Shillong and is led by a Chairman and members. The Chairman is Babynna T. Sangma and the Member is Bedarius Shylla. MPSC members are appointed or removed by the Governor of Meghalaya.
