Megan Nicole
Megan Nicole Green (born Megan Nicole Flores; September 1, 1993) is an American singer-songwriter and actress known as Megan Nicole. She was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Katy. Her mother is German and Native American and her father is Mexican American. She started making music around age 10 after her dad bought a karaoke machine, and sang in church programs during school.
She began posting covers on YouTube in 2009, with her first video a cover of Use Somebody by Kings of Leon. In 2011 she released her first original song, B-e-a-utiful. In August 2012 she signed with Bad Boy Records, and by September 2012 she reached No. 29 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart. By 2014 she had millions of subscribers and hundreds of millions of views on YouTube.
Her debut single, Electrified, was released on August 19, 2014, from her album Escape, which came out on October 14, 2014 on Hume Records after leaving Bad Boy. The Electrified video premiered on People.com in September 2014. Megan also starred in the film Summer Forever (2015). In 2017 she performed a DC Super Hero Girls theme song cover, Get Your Cape On. She became engaged to Cooper Green in March 2017 and married him on July 1, 2017.
