St. Mary's Episcopal Church (Springfield Center, New York)
St. Mary's Episcopal Church is a parish of the Episcopal Church in Springfield Center, Otsego County, New York, within the Diocese of Albany. The church building was originally built in 1889 and moved to its current site in 1902.
Worship began in the area in 1875 when Rev. E. Folsom Baker held occasional services. A formal mission was established in 1889, and the cornerstone for the church was laid on September 21 of that year. The congregation became a full parish in 1899.
The church complex includes the church itself, a parish hall (built 1910–1911), a rectory (built 1902), and a wagon shed. The building blends Shingle and Gothic Revival styles and was designed to evoke a medieval English chapel.
The rectory is a two‑story Queen Anne style house with a wraparound porch. The parish hall is a two‑story Gothic Revival building finished with stucco and shingles.
In 2015, the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
