Broom is a small hamlet in Cumbria, England. It sits near the village of Long Marton in the Westmorland and Furness district. It’s about two miles from Appleby-in-Westmorland and about ten miles from Penrith. Nearby villages include Brampton, Crackenthorpe, Long Marton and Dufton. For travel, the Appleby railway station on the Settle-Carlisle Line is nearby, and the A66 road is close by.
