Matteo Berretti, born 4 April 1985 in Cecina, Tuscany, is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Poggibonsi. He began his career with his hometown club Cecina and joined Siena’s youth system in 2002. He spent 2004–05 on loan at Aglianese before moving to Potenza in 2005, where he became a regular player and helped the team win promotion to Serie C1 in 2007.

In 2009 he joined Taranto, with loan spells at Cavese in 2010 and Andria in 2010–11. He later joined Andria on a permanent deal for 2011–12, and subsequently played for Fano, Città di Giulianova, SPAL, Agropoli, Jolly Montemurlo, and finally Poggibonsi from 2016 onward.
