Manuel “Manolo” Márquez Roca (born 7 September 1968 in Barcelona) is a Spanish football manager and former defender. He is the head coach of Goa in the Indian Super League.

As a player, Márquez was a defender who appeared for many Catalan clubs, including Cerdanyola, Santfeliuenc, Montañesa, Granollers, Martinenc, Horta, Badalona and Anguera. He retired from playing at 28 and began his coaching career with PB Anguera in 2002.

Márquez has since managed several teams in Spain, including Prat, Europa, Badalona, Espanyol B, Sant Andreu and Las Palmas B. He briefly led Las Palmas in La Liga in 2017 but resigned after six league games.

In 2018 he moved abroad to Croatia to coach NK Istra 1961, but was dismissed early in the season. He then had a short spell in Thailand with Ratchaburi Mitr Phol. After returning to India, he took over Hyderabad FC in 2020 and guided them to their first Indian Super League title in 2021-22. He also led the team to the playoffs in 2022-23 before leaving in 2023.

In June 2023 Márquez was appointed head coach of Goa. In 2024 he also became head coach of the India national team, while continuing with Goa, with the plan to focus on the national team full-time after the 2024-25 season. His early India games included a 0-0 draw with Mauritius, a 3-0 loss to Syria, and a 1-1 draw with Vietnam, where Farukh Choudhary scored. He earned India’s first win under his tenure on 19 March 2025 against Maldives, ending a 489-day winless run. On 2 July 2025 the AIFF and Márquez mutually terminated his contract with the national team, and he returned to Goa for the 2025-26 season.
