Pontsticill railway station is in Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. It is part of the Brecon Mountain Railway (BMR) and has one platform.

History
- The station opened on 19 March 1863 as part of the Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil Junction Railway.
- In 1868 it became a junction for a second line to Morlais, which connected with the London and North Western Railway. The Morlais line is now disused.
- The line from Pontsticill to Pant is the route used by the Brecon Mountain Railway today.
- The station closed to passengers and goods on 31 December 1962, with freight continuing until 1964.

Restoration and reopening
- Planning for the Brecon Mountain Railway began after the closure, with work starting in 1978. The signal box was derelict and the station house had been used as a sheep shelter.
- The line between Pant and Pontsticill was rebuilt during 1979–1980.
- Pontsticill reopened to passengers in June 1980. It was the terminus from 1980 to 1994, and the line was extended northwards after 1995.

Today
- One platform is in use, with a cafeteria and toilets for passengers.
- The original signal box and station house are on the eastern side of the site.
- The old stone waiting room has been turned into a small steam museum with displays and three small working steam locomotives.
- Stock storage sheds lie south of the station. Pant station has larger sheds and workshops for the railway today.
