Too Tough to Tame
Too Tough to Tame is the eleventh studio album by American country singer John Anderson. It was released on August 8, 1989. The album started with Universal Records (which later became Capitol Nashville) and included a mix of traditional and contemporary country sounds.
The album’s singles were “Who’s Lovin’ My Baby” and “Tryin’ to Make a Living on the Road.” Neither single reached the Top 40, making this the first John Anderson album to fail to produce a Top 40 hit since the early part of his career. The record marked a shift in his chart success compared with his previous works.
