Cristian Olivera
Cristian Gonzalo Olivera Ibarra, known as Cristian Olivera or "Kike," is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a right winger for Grêmio in Brazil and the Uruguay national team. He was born on 17 April 2002 in Montevideo and began playing football at age three, progressing through several youth clubs before joining Rentistas in 2018.
He made his professional debut in 2019, helped Rentistas win promotion to the top division, and debuted in the Uruguayan Primera División in 2020, scoring his first top-flight goal soon after. In September 2020 he moved to UD Almería in Spain, but he did not establish himself there and spent time on loan back in Uruguay with Peñarol (2021) and Boston River (2022–2023), where he scored 10 league goals. He joined Los Angeles FC in 2023 and then moved to Grêmio in 2025.
Internationally, Olivera has represented Uruguay at youth levels and made his senior debut in 2023. He was part of the Uruguay squad for the 2024 Pre-Olympic Tournament.
