Mathira
Mathira Chaudhry, known simply as Mathira, is a Pakistani-Zimbabwean model, dancer, TV host, singer, and actor. She was born on February 25, 1992, in Harare, Zimbabwe, to a South African father and a Pakistani mother. Her sister, Rose Muhammad, is also an actress. She moved to Pakistan with her family during unrest in Zimbabwe.
Mathira began in music videos and later hosted TV shows, including Love Indicator on Vibe TV (2011) and Baji Online on AAG TV (2011). She is famous for item numbers in films such as Young Malang (2013) with the song Lakk Ch Current and Main Hoon Shahid Afridi (2013) with Masti Mein Doobi Raat Hai. She also appeared in the music video Jhootha with Arbaz Khan (2013).
She acted in a Vipin Sharma-directed film in 2014 and released the song Piya Re in 2015 with Furqan and Imran, a tribute to Adnan Sami. From 2017 to 2019, she played a supporting role in the Geo Kahani series Naagin. In 2019, she appeared in Sirf Tum Hi To Ho opposite Danish Taimoor.
Mathira married Punjabi singer Farran J Mirza (Flint J) in 2012, and they have a son, Aahil Rizvi, born in September 2014. The couple separated in January 2018.
