Desert Tech
Desert Tech is an American firearms maker that specializes in bullpup rifles. It began in 2007 as Desert Tactical Arms and changed to Desert Tech in 2013. The company is based in West Valley City, Utah, and serves customers worldwide. It is financed and owned by members of the Kingston family, who are linked to the Latter Day Church of Christ, a polygamous Mormon group.
Desert Tech sells three bullpup rifles: the SRS, HTI, and MDRx. Their rifle chassis are multi-caliber and can be easily swapped to different calibers. By May 2018, all of its firearms were bullpup designs. The company’s motto is "Tomorrow's Weapons," and it has a subsidiary in India called Neco Desert Tech Defence.
