Tariq Fazal Chaudhry
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry is a Pakistani politician from Islamabad and a member of the Pakistan Muslim League (N). He was born on June 7, 1969, and studied at Rawalpindi Medical University.
He first ran for the National Assembly in 2002 but did not win. He was elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2013 from Islamabad-II (NA-49). In November 2015, he was made Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development, and after Shahid Khaqan Abbasi became prime minister in 2017, he remained in the cabinet as Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development and was later promoted to Federal Minister for CAD. The cabinet and the National Assembly ended in May 2018.
Chaudhry returned to Parliament and, from February 2024, has been a member of the National Assembly representing Islamabad-II (NA-47). He also served as the president of the Islamabad wing of PML-N in 2016.
