Massimo Bonanni
Massimo Bonanni (born 10 June 1982 in Rome) is an Italian football coach and former midfielder. He started in Roma’s youth system and spent time on loan at Viterbese, Panachaiki in Greece, and Vicenza before joining Vicenza permanently. In 2005 Roma sold him to Palermo, where he made his Serie A debut on 28 August 2005 against Parma. He later played for Lazio (on loan), Sampdoria (with loans to Ascoli and Bari), Grosseto, Pescara, Lugano in Switzerland, and Genoa, with additional loan spells along the way. He also appeared for Italy’s U-18 team.
After retiring as a player, Bonanni became a coach. He led La Rustica (2015–2017), then worked with Ostiamare’s youth teams (2017–2020), briefly coached Ostiamare’s first team in 2020, and has continued with the club’s youth setup since 2021. He is currently a youth coach for A.S. Ostia Mare Lido Calcio.
