Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a fighting game from nWay that lets you pick teams of three Power Rangers to battle one-on-one, with tag-ins, assisting teammates, and Megazord summons. It officially released on multiple platforms between 2019 and 2020 and has several special-edition physical and digital releases.

Release and editions
- Digital launches: Nintendo Switch and Xbox One (March 26, 2019); PlayStation 4 (April 2, 2019); Microsoft Windows (September 24, 2019); Stadia (June 1, 2020).
- Physical editions: Limited Run Games released standard physical versions for Switch and PS4, plus a Mega Edition with extras.
- Collectors and later bundles: Maximum Games released a Collector’s Edition (October 2020) featuring the character Lauren Shiba. A digital Super Edition including all downloadable content released in May 2021, with a physical version in August 2021.
- Cross-platform play: The game added cross-platform play between Switch, Xbox One, and Windows (July 2019), with PS4 cross-platform support added in February 2020.

Gameplay and modes
- Teams and fights: Players form teams of three, can switch between fighters during the match, and call in assists. Megazords can be summoned via a meter that fills as teammates take damage.
- Modes: Ranked Online, Arcade, Versus, Casual Online, Training, and Tutorial. There’s also a Story Mode inspired by the Power Rangers comic storyline “Shattered Grid.”
- Roster: 12 playable characters at launch, with 14 more available as DLC over time. Some characters unlock through post-release updates.

Story
- The plot centers on Lord Drakkon, an evil alternate-future version of Tommy Oliver who has stolen morphers and is draining Power Ranger powers. Rangers travel through time to protect their teammates and stop Drakkon from rewriting reality. The story culminates in a battle at Drakkon’s tower, where Tommy ultimately defeats Drakkon, and the tower is destroyed.

Characters and content updates
- The game features original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers actors reprising roles, including Tommy Oliver (as both the original and Drakkon), Jason Lee Scott, Adam Park, Zordon, Rita Repulsa, Goldar, Scorpina, and Eric Myers, among others.
- DLC and special packs: The first season added new characters; Capcom’s Ryu and Chun-Li joined later via a Street Fighter Pack (May 2021) alongside a digital Super Edition that collects all DLC up to that point, with a physical release in August 2021. A fourth season of content was announced in September 2021.

Reception
- The game received mixed reviews. Critics praised the fighting system and tag mechanics but criticized the presentation, graphics, and the lack of content at launch. Reviewers noted a limited initial roster and a basic story, even as the mechanics offered accessible, fast-paced combat.
