Mahadzir Abdul Hamid (born 16 November 1975 in Kedah) is a Malaysian politician. He was the Kedah State Assembly member for Jeneri from May 2013 to May 2018. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), part of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He won the Jeneri seat in the 2013 election with a majority of 2,060 votes, succeeding Yahya Abdullah of the PAS–PR alliance and was later succeeded by Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor of the GS–PAS alliance. He studied at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jeneri (SPM 1992) and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sik (STPM 1994), and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 1998.
