Zhenhai Tower (Guangzhou)
Zhenhai Tower, also known as the Five-Story Pagoda, is a historic tower in Guangzhou, Guangdong. It sits in Yuexiu Park in central Guangzhou and now houses the Guangzhou Museum. The tower was built in 1380, at the start of the Ming dynasty, by Yongjia Marquis Zhu Liangzu. It is about 28 meters tall, 31 meters wide, and 16 meters deep. When it was built, it was Guangzhou’s tallest building and long served as a symbol of the city before the Five Goats Statue was erected.
