The Daisy Chain was an American all-female garage rock and psychedelic band from Fullerton, California. They were active from 1967 to 1968 and released one album, Straight or Lame, on United International Records in 1967.

Band members were Michelle Pinizzotto (vocals), Camille Orosco (organ), Rosemary Butler (bass), and Dee Dee Lea (drums). The group grew out of a local high school band called the Ladybirds. Lea and Butler left the Ladybirds in 1966–1967 and joined with Michelle Urquhart to form a new band that went through several names—Rapunzels, Lady Love, and The Good Lovin’—before Orosco joined in 1967 and they became The Daisy Chain. The name reflected their wish to stay linked together and fit the psychedelic era.

The Daisy Chain’s album Straight or Lame sold about 5,000 copies in the first weeks and the band toured the Southwest, Colorado, and Illinois in early 1968 before breaking up. After the split, Pinizzotto and Butler formed Birtha with Olivia Favela and Sherry Hagler; Birtha later signed with ABC-Dunhill and released two albums before disbanding in 1975.

Over the years, the Daisy Chain’s music gained interest among garage rock and psychedelic fans. In 2005 Sundazed Music reissued Straight or Lame on CD in mono with new liner notes based on interviews with former members. Michelle Pinizzotto died on February 4, 2014.
