Magathane Assembly constituency
Magathane is Constituency No. 154 for Maharashtra’s Legislative Assembly, located in Mumbai Suburban district in western Maharashtra. It is part of the Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency and was created in 2008. The seat has about 304,676 voters and has no reservation. It is one of 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra and one of 26 in Mumbai Suburban. For Parliament, it is grouped with Dahisar, Borivali East, Kandivali East, Charkop, and Malad West in Mumbai North. The current MLA is Prakash Surve of SHS, elected in 2024 to the 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
