The Infinite Way is a spiritual teaching created by American healer and lecturer Joel S. Goldsmith (1892–1964). He began teaching it in 1940 and published The Infinite Way in 1947. He traveled to teach in New England, the West Coast, and Hawaii, and in 1950 he began recording his lectures for a global audience. He wrote more than 50 books on the subject. The core idea is a set of practices, including meditation, based on four principles: the Nature of God, the Nature of Individual Being, the Nature of Error, and the Nature of Prayer. These principles can be practiced by people of any religion. By studying and practicing these principles and the meditation method, followers can reach a higher state of consciousness called God realization.
