Mac Cody
Mac Cody (born August 7, 1972) is a former American football wide receiver who played in the NFL and the CFL. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, attended Vashon High School, and played college football at Memphis State. After going undrafted in 1994, he pursued pro football across several leagues.
Cody spent time with multiple teams in the CFL, NFL, and Arena Football League. In the CFL, he played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Ottawa Rough Riders, Birmingham Barracudas, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, and Toronto Argonauts. His peak came in 1996 with Hamilton, when he led the CFL in receiving yards (1,426), was named the Tiger-Cats’ Most Outstanding Player, and earned a West Division All-Star honor. In the AFL, he played for the Orlando Predators in 1997. In the NFL, he joined the St. Louis Rams briefly in 1999 and then played for the Arizona Cardinals from 1999 to 2000, totaling 23 receptions for 272 yards and 1 touchdown. He finished his professional career with a short stint in Toronto in 2002.
