Louis Brower
Louis Lester Brower (July 1, 1900 – March 4, 1994) was an American Major League Baseball shortstop who played for the Detroit Tigers in 1931. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Brower batted and threw right-handed. He appeared in 21 games during his one MLB season, collecting 10 hits in 62 at-bats for a .161 batting average and driving in 6 runs. His debut came on June 13, 1931, and his final game was on July 27, 1931, both with Detroit. Brower died in Tyler, Texas, at age 93. He was Jewish.
