Royal Blood-Fresh
Royal Blood-Fresh (Korean: 혈궁불로정) is a traditional Korean medicine made from soybeans. It is produced in North Korea by Pugang Pharmaceutic and is the company’s most famous product. The makers market it as a blood purifier and as a way to prevent deep-vein thrombosis. It has been sold to foreigners on Air Koryo flights and at Pyongyang Gwan, a North Korean restaurant in Hanoi, Vietnam. Outside North Korea, it is often described as a non-scientific "miracle cure." In 2017, three Russian nationals were arrested in South Korea for selling North Korean drugs, including Royal Blood-Fresh, Kumdang-2, and Neo-Viagra-Y.R.
