Paterson Park Library is a public branch of the City of Johannesburg Library and Information Services (CoJLIS). It is located inside the Paterson Park Sports and Recreation Centre in Norwood, Johannesburg, South Africa. The library opened on 12 October 2021 and serves Norwood, Orchards, Orange Grove and nearby communities.

The Paterson Park Sports and Recreation Centre was redeveloped by the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) starting in late 2018. The centre includes the library, a craft centre, sports facilities and administrative buildings, and was planned to be completed by February 2020. After final fit-out, the library was officially opened on 12 October 2021 by then-Executive Mayor Cllr. Mpho Moerane.

Paterson Park Library hosts community events, such as a September 2024 panel during Women’s Month on mentorship, empowerment and digital skills, drawing attendees from Norwood and surrounding areas. It also takes part in city-wide initiatives like South African Library Week and offers space for workshops, reading competitions and cultural programmes.

The library is managed by the City of Johannesburg’s Department of Community Development through CoJLIS, which oversees about 90 branches across seven regions.
