Yoshinobu Launch Complex launches: The Yoshinobu Launch Complex is part of the Tanegashima Space Center and hosts JAXA’s major test firings and launches. In the past, other Space Center facilities were used, with small rockets launched from the Takesaki Range. The Osaki Launch Complex, where larger rockets began, was retired in 1992.
