Soana (river)
The Soana is a small river in the Province of Turin, Piedmont, in north‑western Italy. It is about 24.7 kilometers long and drains a basin of around 214 square kilometers. Its headwaters are in Valprato Soana, above Pianprato, where several smaller streams join. The Soana is the main tributary of the Orco and flows into it at Pont Canavese. From there, the water continues through the Po River to the Adriatic Sea. The average discharge at the mouth is about 7.1 cubic meters per second.
