Bomb Biscuits
Bomb Biscuits is a Southern restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. It was started by Erika Council, a former software engineer who learned to cook from her grandmothers, including Mama Dip. Council began with supper parties in 2018 and ran Bomb Biscuits as a pop-up in 2017. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant offered delivery. In 2021, Bomb Biscuits opened a stall at the Irwin Street Market, and in 2022 it moved to a permanent location at 668 Highland Ave NE.
The menu is brunch-focused, featuring biscuits, cinnamon rolls, fried chicken, catfish, grits, pancakes, hash browns, and breakfast sandwiches. The SEC sandwich (sausage, egg, and American cheese) is a well-known favorite. Drinks include sweet tea, local coffee, fruit juice, and soda. Bomb Biscuits also ships items nationwide.
Recognition: In 2024, Bomb Biscuits was added to the Michelin Guide, and in 2023 it was listed by The New York Times as one of the 50 best restaurants in the United States.
